“Reopening” Plan

A few changes are coming to our church family. We've been reflecting on lessons from the pandemic, the city's newly lifted restrictions, our nearly three-year journey as a church family, and of course, God's Word. These reflections have led us to the opportunity to make a few key changes in our life together as a church. And we're planning on implementing these changes on two separate Sundays.

The first will be on Sunday, June 20th.
The second will be on Sunday, September 12th.

Here's what's happening Sunday, June 20th ...

In light of the changes nationally and citywide, we are excited to no longer have capacity limits on Sundays and discontinue weekly registrations. That means no more 50-person limit! We also will not require vaccinated people to wear face coverings during the gathering. However if you haven't been vaccinated we're asking that you continue to wear a mask (including children 2-12). Also, we still will not have children's programming, everyone will be part of the gathering. We realize not everyone will be ready to gather in-person yet, so you can still join us online.

In preparation for Sunday, September 12th ...

Please be praying. We don't mean to bury the lead, but there are still a number of details and plans were working through in order to implement other long-term changes well. Because there is much to consider––especially about how and why we gather on Sundays––before we make more changes, we'll be pausing our Romans teaching series in August and taking five weeks to consider "what it means to be us" in a series we're calling, Together.

The Lord has been so faithful. And though we celebrate getting back to a richer semblance of normalcy we realize there are many still suffering. So we continue to pray that the Lord would heal the sick, grant wisdom to his people, and that his kingdom would come and his will would be done.
